Our Objects & Activities | Sanatana Sangha Charitable Trust
From education and healthcare to elder care and disaster relief — explore the charitable activities of Sanatana Sangha Charitable Trust, Bengaluru. Every initiative we undertake traces back to the founding objects of our Trust Deed. Here's what that means in practice:
Spirituality & Sanatana Dharma
We work towards the advancement of spirituality and the preservation and promotion of Sanatana Dharma in everyday life — through teaching, discourse, and community participation.
Education for the Underprivileged
We run, support, or assist educational institutions, coaching centres, and vocational training programs, and grant individual scholarships to poor, deserving, and needy students — from elementary school through higher education.
Healthcare & Medical Relief
We support medical institutions, nursing homes, and clinics, and provide direct financial assistance to needy and indigent persons to help meet the cost of medical treatment.
Relief for the Poor & Disaster-Affected
We distribute books, notebooks, clothing, uniforms, and meals to the poor and indigent, and extend assistance to persons affected by natural calamities.
Elder Care & Support for the Physically Challenged
We establish and maintain old age homes and care facilities for physically challenged men, women, and children and support other institutions doing similar work.
Environmental & Social Welfare
We undertake activities for environmental protection and broader social welfare, recognizing that a healthy society needs a healthy environment.
Community Infrastructure
We work to make public-use spaces — libraries, clinics, crèches, and community halls — available for training, seminars, discourses, and public functions that benefit the community at large.
